The Jets got back to .500 with home wins over the Broncos and Colts in the past two weeks. But now they get a much stiffer test.
The Vikings come to MetLife Stadium on Sunday. This is not a West Coast team traveling east after a Monday night game like the Broncos or a team that has more injured players than healthy ones like the Colts. This is a Vikings team that went to the NFC Championship game last year, added a top-tier quarterback and appears to be hitting its stride.
A win over the Vikings would be a statement by the Jets that they are much better than anyone thought.
Except the Jets don’t quite see it that way. They were big into the “just another game” mode this week.
