I am a college student at Binghamton University.Over my winter break in December/January, I worked for a few days with UPS as a driver’s helper. At the end of break I was trying to get paid and called the head office of my branch in Farmingville, NY.
My check wasn’t at my branch or any of the nearby branches on the Island. They told me to call human resources and over the past five months I have called maybe 20 times. The head of human resources has not once picked up the phone.
I think they may have made an error with putting me into the system to get paid, and I don’t know what else to do. Below is a sheet of all the dates and times that I worked. If there is anything you could do to help me, I would really appreciate it. S.T.
Dear S.T. I contacted UPS, and the company said: “Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’ve shared your e-mail with my colleagues in New York, and we’ll make sure that [S.T.] is properly compensated.
