Prepare to be a “Slave to the Rhythm” at NYC’s 2019 Pride celebration: Grace Jones was announced Wednesday as the headliner of the festival.

The legendary pop diva and style icon will take the “Pride Island” stage Saturday, June 29, for the official World Pride NYC/Stonewall 50 party at Pier 97 in Hudson River Park.

Jones is most famous — and infamous — for her post-disco dance tracks as well as an offbeat series of film roles, including her turn as a Bond villainess in “A View to a Kill,” “Conan the Destroyer” opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the 1992 Eddie Murphy comedy classic “Boomerang.”

She follows in the hallowed headliner footsteps of previous LGBTQ icons such as Cher, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Lopez. But you’d better be willing to shell out some big bucks to pull up to this bumper.
